On hearing of Sripada Bhakti Prasun Aranya Maharaja’s disappearance I sent the following message to Sriman Uddharan dasa Adhikari. I believe it is also appropriate with respect to today’s celebration of Sri Lalita Devi’s avirbhava maha mahotsava.
Anyone who knows him (Sripada B.P. Aranya Maharaja) will remember him as a gentle Vaishnava who had no malice in his heart and who was very kind and gracious to everyone who had the good fortune to enter his orb of influence.
As an example; once while I was doing some seva in Govardhana we went on a pilgrimage of Vrndavana. I always kept close to Sripada Aranya Maharaja, who often took my hand to help him up some steps, onto a rickshaw, etc. After visiting Varshana, where I helped his Holiness up each of what
Oh Giri Maharaj, I am suffering in such Hellish pain day in and out. I am in sheer terror, please pray that Krsna lets me leave my body!
The material body is always giving us various pains and pleasures, sometimes great, sometimes small. These are temporary and we must try our best to tolerate them.
I cannot pray to Krishna to let you leave your body. That is like asking Krishna to let you commit suicide. Suicide is a sin because it is an attempt to deny Krishna control over our lives. Our bodies are not ours, they are His, to be used for His seva. During the course of our seva attempts there will be many obstacles; bodily pains and pleasures are two such obstacles. We must tolerate them with the knowledge that Krishna will decide what is best for us, whether

Dear Mr. Deace,
Please accept my warm greetings.
I often listen to your podcasts and find your rational philosophical underpinnings and frank theological openness refreshing.
I know you enjoy challenges to both, as you often
Dear Sriman Jagadananda dasa,
Please accept my blessings and well-wishes.
I pray all is well with you and the Math.
If you have time please let me know how you are and how everything at the math is.
By the grace of Sri Guru and Vaishnavas we are continuing our seva to Srila Gurudeva, as our capacity allows. During my life I have been very fortunate to have the association and confidence of faithful devotees who stand as examples of how to proceed along the path of Krishna Consciousness. I am most unworthy of such association and remain in constant awe that, despite my many shortcomings, I continue to be tolerated and accepted as their servant, friend and well-wisher. Standing so far distant from the ocean of causeless mercy of the Lord’s devotees, yet having been touched

Dear Prabhu Kamal Krishna,
My dandavat pranams.
Listening to the recordings of Srila Sridhara Maharaja today this appeared:

Srila Sridhara Maharaja – “One day Achyutananda interviewed with me and asked some question about the Holy Name, Divine Name, and I replied; and he took notes and “Back to Godhead” sent an article that there is mention of Charaka, Charaka Rshi, the ancient doctor; the medicine of Charaka. His example I quoted there… His opinion about epedemic. He has written a book, that when, in the name of justice, the court pleaders, advocates, they are supposed to help the justice. But when they, themselves, do injustice,

Dear Sriman Ratan Krishna dasa,
Please accept my humble obeisances.
It was very kind of you to write to me, expressing your appreciation for my humble attempts to serve Srila Gurudeva, his Mission, his devotees and those caught in the cycle of samsara.
Your visit with the other devotees you mentioned was very enlivening for me as well.
Whenever there appears an intensity to serve the Lord and His devotees, as we noticed among the devotees here at the time you mention, it must be accompanied by a very auspicious sphere of influence that affects all of those within it, or touched by it. Sankirtana, especially as it occurs through preaching the precepts of our Divine lineage, is the key to creating such an auspicious environment.
Dear Sripada Tyagi Maharaja,
Please accept my humble obeisances.
Today I became lost in the ocean of jñāna. I was searching for some original materials that would delineate the lineage (parampara) of the other three principal vaishnava sampradayas. The ocean is filled by many tributaries and searching one and then another I happened to come to an old version I have of “Gaudiya Gitanjali” (from about 1986). Wanting to verify the authenticity of its origin & some passages therein, a further search took me to scsmath.com and searching there for “Gaudiya Gitanjali” I found it listed under “Publications Available” in your book Sri Sri Nityananda Mahimamrtam.
I had not read this book previously and thought to take a few moments to get some idea about
Dear Sriman Jonathan,
Well as Govinda Maharaj was about to answer him, the other person who was already formally initiated by Govinda Maharaj interrupted Govinda Maharaj by asking ~ "(Govinda Maharaj, is it alright for a person who is not initiated to ask such a?)" Govinda Maharaj looked a little disdained at this disciple and said~ "before initiation one may ask anything, after initiation your are supposed to just do what i tell you." then He addressed the man.
Yes, you may ask anything.
You asked, I answered; and addressed your questions.
But I asked you nothing, because I don’t consider you an authority on Krishna Consciousness.
And yet you blather on with your “remembrance” of this or that, which you cannot apply in any practical way.
