We offer this for the pleasure of the devotees, with full gratitude to the Bengali translators for the portions in bold type completed during February 2013. Bracketed “[ ]” text and some edits by Swami B.K. Giri.

Please Note: All transcriptions such as this are more or less works in progress presented with the expectation of future corrections and simultaneously with the intent to satisfy the hearts of the devotees eager to have these great talks available in text form for study and research.

Much work has been done by many devotees to produce these transcripts. We do not know the names of every transcriber, nor, in many cases, can we properly attribute their work to a specific transcript.

“Тогда ему конец”
Шрила А. Ч. Бхактиведанта Свами

Освобождённая душа никогда не говорит: «Я освобождена». Как только человек утверждает, что он «освобождён», он становится мошенником. Освобождённая душа никогда не говорит: «Я освобождена».  Такова характеристика освобождённой души.

Prabhupada: At the present moment it is required that the leading men should understand the aims of life and introduce it in the society for the general benefit of the human society. In the present chaotic position of the society… Just like we see on the road, cars are running with great speed, this way and that way, but they do not know what is the aim of life. Ask any one of them that “What is the aim of life, and why you are running so speedily, and what Read More...

“Then He’s Finished”

“Then He’s Finished”
by Srila A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami

Liberated soul never says that “I am liberated.” As soon as he says “liberated,” he’s a rascal. A liberated soul will never say that “I am liberated.” That is liberated.

Caitanya Mahaprabhu, He is God—guru more murkha dekhi’ karila sasan [CC. Adi 7.71]. “My Guru Maharaja saw Me a fool number one, and he has chastised Me.” He’s God. This is the example. If one remains always a servant ever-lastingly of guru, then he is liberated. And as soon as he thinks that he is liberated, he’s a rascal. That is the teaching of Caitanya Mahaprabhu. Guru more murkha dekhi’. Caitanya Mahaprabhu is murkha? Why He’s posing Himself Read More...

Srila Sridhara Maharaja: Hare Krsna, Hare Krsna. So, our Swami Maharaja has done a miracle! (Laughingly) He has done a miracle. What Srila Bhakti Vinod Thakur conceived and Srila Bhakti Siddhanta Saraswati Thakur Prabhupada tried according to his conception to translate into action — we find that through Srila Swami Maharaja in his last days these revelations have been fulfilled. We are happy, we are glad, we are proud of Swami Maharaja, and of you Read More...

Srila Sridhara Maharaja & Srila Swami Maharaja “Conversation March 1977”

Srila Sridhar Maharaja and Srila Prabhupada at the Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math in 1977.

Srila Sridhara Maharaja: The central principle of ISKCON philosophy is surrender, otherwise one will not be able to get to know the substance. Whatever you are seeing externally by means of your intelligence — that is not going to help you to become acquainted with the real substance.Srila Prabhupada: That Dr. Radhakrishnan [author and one-time president of India] was victimized by Western philosophy. He had no real understanding of Indian philosophy.Srila Sridhara Maharaja: No matter; up to whatever extent they go, ultimately they end up becoming the worshiper of the self. They think that they will become God. The geocentric philosophy is not heliocentric. Read More...
