Dear devotees and friends: We humbly invite you to participate along with devotees from SCSM New Jersey in the grand festival for Sri Krishna Janmastami and, Sri Nandotsava and Srila Prabhupada’s Appearance the following morning.

The festivals include kirtana, discourses and other auspicious activities.

For your satisfaction we offer this video of Srila Govinda Maharaja’s talk on Janmastami day 2008.

Jayanta Krishna, the “enabler”, joins the fray.

Prelude to the discussion:
Dhira-Krsna Svami: So, but Prabhupada mentions that a disciple – he must execute the order of the spiritual master, but not offend other Vaisnavas.

Srila Sridhara Maharaja: Eh?

Bhakti Caru Svami: (Explains in Bengali)

Srila Sridhara Maharaja: As much as possible. Sometimes he may also…just as elder brother may punish the younger. Good sense must be there – sincerity. He wants the good of the junior and he may chastise the younger brother, “Don’t do in that way – do in this way!” That sort of position, there should be room for that sort of –

Bhakti Caru Svami: Friendship.

Dhira-Krsna Svami: Sometimes –

Bhakti Caru Svami: (Bengali) “When one does it for the benefit of someone, it is not an offence.”

Srila Sridhara Maharaja: (Bengali) “It isn’t.”

Bhakti Caru Svami: (Bengali) “If it is done for Bhagavan, for the practice of devotion to the Lord – ”

Srila Sridhara Maharaja: If well-meaning,

Radha Syam has concocted another story he knows to be false.

He seems to be coaching Indra Bandhu with answers to offer as excuses for stealing files from, and then deleting all the files on, our website,

Why would he do that, if Indra Bandhu had nothing to do with with the theft and deletions?

Here’s what Radha Syam wrote in some articles posted earlier today in the form of a letter addressed to Indra Bandhu, advising him how to respond to me, which he has still refused to do. (emphasis added):

“He [Giri Maharaja] says he gave you Gokulananda’s user name and login info? I would presume then that meant you had it as a back up or secondary account should something happen? Didn’t he tell you that you could make changes to the site without his Read More...

Transcendental Gardens

Question: What service duties were here for those in the Math?

Srila Govinda Maharaja: At that time all the regular Temple programs were running as well as cultivation. When I joined I made a very nice flower garden in front of the building. Also we cultivated vegetables and fruits. One day we picked a ten foot long “stick-subji plant” from the garden and took it to Sakhi Babu’s house. He was greatly surprised to see it.—Golden Reflections

Srila Sridhara Maharaja: …There is a tale that there was one devotee in Puri, Madhav däs. He was a man, a devotee of sakhya-rasa. So much so that we are told that Jagannatha told Madhav, “I shall go to steal from the garden of a particular panda. You are to follow Me.” “What is this my Lord – Your pastimes? Dear Sripada Jayadvaita Swami,

Please accept my humble obeisances at your feet.

Maharaja, I have a number of unfinished emails I’ve intended to send you but could not find the time to complete them. Until then I wonder if you would respond to this:

…he has omitted even the predecessor from whose books Swami Maharaja learned and gives his interpretation, gave his interpretation. That is based Read More...

Attack on— the evidence. All signs point to Radha Syam and Indra Bandhu.

Earlier this week I posted a note on Facebook titled Salem devotees attack “Srila Gurudeva’s” website. and a note on our website promising to soon offer a more detailed report of the events. The report that follows contains my personal opinion of what transpired in relation to the theft of content from this website,, which was immediately followed by the the intentional and willful obliteration of the site and destruction of its entire contents, including all its directories, links, etc., and denial of all access to it and our Blog by anyone, thereby destroying the very public benefit use for which it was created in service to our Sri Guru Varga and the Lord’s devotees.

Many of the authoritative quotations used in the text that follows were destroyed Read More...

Dear Sriman Uddharan Prabhu,

Please accept my humble obeisances.

Yesterday Prabhu Bimalananda said “I hope we will have another guru.” His meaning was, just as when my gurus disappeared I was blessed to get the shelter of another guru so, when I pass away, he is worried there may not be another guru to maintain the disciplic succession.

I told him it is Krishna’s and Mahaprabhu’s succession, it is eternally existing with Them. I also told him if he is concerned about this, then he must become guru. That is what I am training him for, as I am doing with all my disciples. Become a perfect disciple, then you will be guru.

Still, he was not fully

Holy name from false guru?

Dear Sriman Rupa Vilasa dasa Adhikari,

Please accept my humble obeisances.

I am working through your questions one by one as time permits. In order to supply the shastric quotations you asked for I have to do a little research for each of those items.

It has been some time since you wrote me. I have not forgotten you questions and will continue to compose my responses.

Below you will find what I have done so far.

I hope it will be helpful for you.

1. Will the holy name of Krsna be ineffective for a sadhaka if he had heard it or received it from a false guru?

False means not true.

A false guru cannot distribute truth.

The true Holy Name does not come from a false guru.

Either the Holy Name is real, or there is no Holy Name. There cannot be a false Holy Name.

But in the real sense, no Ravana can
