The following is the continuation of a discussion and email thread which was posted on our website as “Sriman Vrndavan Das’s rebuttal to my email.”

Dear Sriman Vrndavan das,

Please accept my humble obeisances.

As part of an introduction to our email thread [“Sriman Vrndavan Das’s rebuttal to my email.”] posted on our website I wrote this:

That one point Vrndavan offered as a clear dispute with me is contained in this passage he wrote to me: “How did you conclude that I deviated from Them?”, where “Them” refers to his gurus. I have reread my email several times searching for the passage where I accused Vrndavan das of deviating from his gurus. I could not find any place where I had made that accusation.

So that I am clear as to what it is you are referring to where you wrote: “How did you conclude that I deviated from Them?” (your email dated Aug 5, 2018, at 5:10 AM), will you please supply the exact quote from my email (of 8/4/2018 3:00 PM) that states my conclusion that you have “deviated from Them”, where “Them” refers to your gurus?

I pray this meets you well in all respects.

Yours,

Swami B.K. Giri

Please accept my humble obeisances dear Sripad Giri Maharaj! All glories to Sri Sri Guru Gauranga.

here are your words:

“What has happened with you? Have you lost your faith in guru and Krishna? If not, why are you suggesting I read this rubbish?”

“You have been given the chance to study in the classroom of teachers like Vyasadeva, Shukadeva, Narada, Sri Krishna Chaitanya and even Krishna Himself. Why would you leave their classroom to study under this man you have named? It is ludicrous.”

Subject: Suspicions, not conclusions.

Dear Sriman Vrndavan das,

Please accept my humble obeisances.

You wrote to me:

“You have been given the chance to study in the classroom of teachers like Vyasadeva, Shukadeva, Narada, Sri Krishna Chaitanya and even Krishna Himself. Why would you leave their classroom to study under this man you have named? It is ludicrous.”

Please notice the question marks in the above quotations. These indicate questions to you, not conclusions on my part.

Based on the above, your statement to me (“How did you conclude that I deviated from Them [your gurus]?”) is a misrepresentation of my actual words because I had not concluded anything with respect to your deviating from your gurus.

Will you now agree this statement of yours: “How did you conclude that I deviated from Them [your gurus]?” does not represent an accurate depiction of fact?

To directly answer your question to me (“How did you conclude that I deviated from Them [your gurus]?”) I say this: I did not conclude you deviated from your gurus. Therefore, since I have not arrived at a conclusion regarding that matter, I cannot tell you how I arrived at such a conclusion.

Your email to me dated Aug 5, 2018, at 5:10 AM certainly aroused suspicions in my mind with respect to your deviating from the line of Srila Saraswati Thakura. As a result I had questions, the answers to which may help to confirm or deny my suspicions. As of yet, I have not formed a conclusion with regard to those suspicions.

I pray this finds you well in all respects.

Sincerely,

Swami B.K. Giri
